Post Road Group’s Corporate investment platform focuses on debt and equity investments primarily in telecommunications infrastructure, communications, technology, media, and other tech-enabled business services companies. We pursue investment opportunities in high-growth companies with experienced management teams who are seeking a capital partner to execute on the next phase of their business plan. Since its founding in 2017, the Corporate team has deployed over half a billion dollars in its target industries, and is actively investing out of Post Road Special Opportunity Fund I LP.

Post Road is a fully integrated owner and operator of income producing multifamily real estate. We acquire well-located, primarily Class-B properties that offer attractive in-place cash flow and the ability to create value through a repositioning. We focus on acquiring properties in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States.
Over the last two decades, our senior management team has acquired over 15,000 apartment units and over 5 million square feet of commercial properties, representing over $6 billion of aggregate investment.
Real Estate Finance
Post Road provides flexible first mortgage, bridge, mezzanine and preferred equity financing solutions to real estate owners. We leverage our extensive network and expertise to source situations that require flexible capital, need to close quickly or are overlooked by banks and other large institutions. Our operational experience allows us to quickly understand complex business plans and their unique structuring needs.
Working closely with owners on both the financing structure and the business plan itself ensures our investment basis is well protected and the owner has the flexibility and resources to execute with success. We target $10-$50 million loan opportunities located throughout the United States.
Our senior management team has almost 60 years of combined investment experience and a proven track record of building successful investment platforms. The diverse backgrounds and complementary skillsets provide an established and impressive network of sourcing and diligence capabilities. Michael is a Managing Partner at Post Road and the head of the Corporate investing practice. Michael was previously a Partner at Atalaya Capital Management LP, a special opportunity investment firm with over $2 billion under management. Michael joined Atalaya at its inception in 2006, was member of the Investment Committee, and led the Corporate practice for 11 years. During his career, Michael extensively invested in telecom infrastructure, business services, healthcare services, and real estate. Prior to joining Atalaya, Michael originated, structured, and managed equity investments in traditional media, new media, and telecommunication service industries at Alta Communications, a leading private equity firm focused on small to middle-market media and telecommunication investments. Prior to Alta Communications, Michael invested equity and subordinated debt in a broad range of technology companies at Comdisco Ventures, the venture capital arm of Comdisco. Michael began his career as an investment banking Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Michael received a BA in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Kevin is a Managing Partner at Post Road and the head of the Real Estate investing practice. Kevin was previously the Chief Investment Officer of Taconic Investment Partners, an owner, operator and developer of commercial and residential properties in New York City, where he was responsible for sourcing, executing and managing the company’s investments and investment strategy. Prior to joining Taconic, Kevin was responsible for investments and investment management at AREA Property Partners, where he was a Partner focused on multi-family acquisitions in the New York and Washington D.C. metropolitan markets and was instrumental in building AREA’s expansive multi-family platform. Prior to AREA, Kevin was a member of the acquisitions team at Vornado Realty Trust, one of the largest real estate investment trusts in the United States, where he sourced, financed and executed investments in office, retail and residential properties. Kevin began his career in real estate at Secured Capital Corp, a real estate investment bank that provides advisory services on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and recapitalizations to institutional real estate investors. During his career, Kevin has been responsible for or directly involved in over $5.5 billion of acquisitions in the New York City and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas, including the acquisition of over 13,000 apartment units in those markets. Kevin graduated from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in economics with a dual concentration in finance and real estate finance.
Jason is a Managing Director at Post Road focused on identifying and executing special opportunity investments in the corporate and real estate sectors. Prior to joining Post Road, Jason was a Principal at Atalaya Capital Management, a New York-based special opportunity investment fund where he was responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities in the real estate, corporate and specialty finance sectors. Prior to Atalaya, Jason co-founded the non-performing loan business at Palatine Capital Partners and was the portfolio manager of Palatine’s credit opportunity fund. Prior to Palatine, Jason was responsible for identifying and executing investments in non-performing and distressed loans at Silver Point Capital. Prior to Silver Point, Jason was a member of the Commercial Asset Sales Group at Mission Capital Advisors responsible for the sale of commercial, business and residential loans as well as REO and equipment leases. Jason began his career at MJ Whitman/Third Avenue Management, a broker-dealer and mutual fund, as a sales and trading assistant on the distressed and high-yield trading desk. Jason graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Business Management.

Andy is a Managing Director at Post Road focused on identifying and executing corporate investments. Andy was previously with Starboard Capital Partners where he was responsible for sourcing middle-market private equity investments in the TMT, healthcare, and business service industries. Prior to joining Starboard, Andy co-founded Sasco Investment Group, which focused on special situation debt and equity investments. Prior to Sasco, Andy led corporate origination at Lone Star Funds’ middle market credit affiliate, LStar Capital, and worked at CIT Group investing in senior and junior debt in the TMT and healthcare industries. Andy began his career advising distressed companies and investors in turnaround engagements with Zolfo Cooper, and received a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Melissa is the Director of Finance at Post Road and is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax, audit, and accounting. Prior to joining Post Road, Melissa was the Controller for Real Estate & Private Equity at Paulson & Co., Inc., a $10 billion investment manager, where she managed the accounting, reporting and tax for several real estate and private credit funds, as well as proprietary real estate investments. Prior to Paulson, Melissa was Controller at Colbeck Capital Management, LLC, a New York-based special opportunities investment platform. Prior to Colbeck, Melissa was Senior Fund Accountant at Fortress Investment Group, where she worked on the Drawbridge Long Dated Value Funds, which invested across a range of assets including real estate, asset backed securities, life sciences and mineral rights with long-dated cash flows. Melissa began her career at KPMG, where she worked on audit engagements and in transaction services. Melissa was a Presidential Scholar at Murray State University, where she received a BA in Accounting. She holds an MBA from NYU Stern with a concentration in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Tom is the Director of Operations at Post Road and is responsible for overseeing the asset management, property management, budgeting and operations of Post Road’s real estate portfolio. Prior to joining Post Road, Tom was a Regional Manager with both Greystar and The Related Companies where he was responsible for overseeing the management and operations of third-party and owner-managed multifamily properties. Tom has nearly twenty years’ experience managing multifamily properties, both market-rate and affordable, and commercial assets. Tom began his career in property management with AvalonBay Communities where he progressed from a leasing position to a multi-site management role. His education includes a Certified Property Manager designation from IREM, a Bachelor of Science from Charter Oak State College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Oxford.
Arvind is a Director at Post Road focused on identifying and executing corporate special situation investments. Arvind was previously with Altpoint Capital Partners where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing middle-market private equity and growth equity investments in the TMT and business service industries. Prior to joining Altpoint, Arvind worked in New York Life Investment’s Corporate Venture Capital Group focused on investments in growth equity and early stage technology companies. Arvind previously worked at the Lehman Brothers Estate where he helped restructure and exit its private equity and credit positions and at Lightyear Capital where he invested in middle market financial services and financial technology companies. Arvind began his career in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group at Bear Stearns. Arvind received his MBA from Columbia Business School and BSBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
David is a Controller at Post Road and is responsible for financial reporting, tax, audit, and accounting. Prior to joining Post Road, David was a Manager at The Siegfried Group where he served clients in Private Equity and Real Estate. Prior to The Siegfried Group, David was a Senior Fund Accountant at Melody Capital Partners, a New York-based investment firm focusing on secured loan origination and secondary special situations. David began his career at Deloitte, where he worked on audit engagements on financial services clients, primarily in insurance brokerage. David received his BA in Accounting from the University of Delaware. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is currently earning his MBA from NYU Stern with a concentration in finance.
Gueve is an Associate at Post Road focused on investments in the real estate sector. Prior to joining Post Road, Gueve was an Analyst at Hudson Advisors/Lone Star Funds, where he focused on asset management and portfolio management of the firm’s real estate equity, non-performing loan, and CMBS portfolios. Gueve graduated from Trinity College, where he earned a BA in Economics.

Elizabeth handles accounting and bookkeeping functions at Post Road. Elizabeth has nearly thirty years of experience in accounting beginning in 1991 with Montrose International Corporation, where she was responsible for overseeing all banking, payroll and account functions. Prior to joining Post Road, Elizabeth was responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, including the maintenance of financial records, payroll management and cost analysis at CT Center for Advanced ENT Care, River Bank Construction and Pequot Remodeling Corporation. Elizabeth studied Economics and Statistics at the University of Connecticut.
Zareh is an Analyst at Post Road. Zareh graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his BA in cognitive science.
Tara is an Asset Manager at Post Road and is responsible for the operations, leasing, property management and overall asset management of the company’s real estate portfolio. Tara has over fifteen years of experience in real estate and property management, beginning as a Realtor with William Raveis where she focused on residential sales and rentals in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut. Tara has diverse knowledge and expertise in multi-family leasing and property management having worked for Equity Residential and Equity Corporate Housing. Prior to joining Post Road, Tara worked as a Regional Program Manager for a cultural exchange program and in sales for Hyatt Hotel Corporation. Tara attended the University of Rhode Island where she studied Business Administration.
